The main subjects of study are precision agriculture, conservation agriculture, use of nutrients and fertilisers, and environmental, growing and biodiversity improvement practices backed by CAP \/ PSR. Monitoring and potentially mitigating methane emissions in rice represent other challenges the SAIRISI group wants to tackle. One of the unusual aspects of this project is that it brings together farmers, rice millers, companies and retailers on a single platform with the aim of improving farming sustainability."}
